A gift for an 8 yo that loves to sketch and adores all things Pokemon. The pages are a good quality for both crayon and pencil. And the covers are not at all flimsy. The size is perfect for using in the car and toting in her backpack.
My nephew loved this and has been drawing pokemon in it since Christmas. It's not a heavy book, so don't expect that -- it's a lightweight paperback style and that's fine for him. I liked the size because it gave him a bit more room to draw, and he just loves pokemon so it was a win.
Very nice and simple for everyday sketching with pen and pencil. Thin paper, but that's what I needed to throw in my bag and go.
I thought the book was okay, but was not on par to my expectations. Quality was good, but the inside pages are not completely blank as there pictures of Squirtle on the lower right hand side of all the pages. I tried to refund the book but they let me keep the book and gave a refund. I guess I have to find some use for it.
This was part of my daughters birthday gift. She is so excited to use her new sketchbook!
