Process theology is an important development in contemporary thinking about God, and this is an ideal introduction. Epperly covers the history and major concepts and--more important--he keeps coming back to the "so what" of these beliefs. His writing is simply and clearly worded, and delivers some profound and thought-provoking statements. He addresses supporting texts from the Bible and contemporary issues. I found the chapters on ethics and immortality to be especially helpful. Few books of such brevity deliver so much content.Process Theology: Embracing Adventure with God
This book is a brief, but solid, introduction to process theology. For those who have been wondering what process theology is about, and for those who have never heard of process theology, this book brings to life an alternate view of Christian theology and is well worth the effort.
