Compared to princeton review books, this is way more simple and basic for you to pick up and learn quicker. Because what the princeton does is, it combines other sciences like biochem and organic chemistry into the chapters so now you have to pick little pieces here and there to try to grasp the information. Kaplan really breaks it down fundamentally, but is it good prep for MCAT ? no not really because it doesn't go in depth and there are no passage based questions. But to get in the flow of it and gain confidence in grasping the material? I would definitely recommend this book!

I used this book to study for the Dental Admissions Test. I took Biology eight years ago and needed something that wasn't too overwhelming as a textbook, but detailed enough to get me going. I used this in combination with Barron's AP Biology and it was the perfect combination. I definitely recommend this book. It's hard at the beginning but very good.

I purchased this book over the summer to study for the Biology section on my PCAT and ended up with a overall score in the 90th percentile. Being a Biochemistry/Pre-Pharmacy major, I felt that I needed a quick review. This book was a great resource and provided a thorough review of many of the topics covered on the PCAT.
Not as comprehensive as I'd hope for... Kaplan really missed the ball with this review book
My daughter is a PreMed student and asked me to to purchase it for her.She loves it-"it's format is great,the material is explained well and the colored diagrams help to memorize "-that is what she had to say.She has not put it down since she got it and and that says a lot,since she is on winter break.It is is the best money I ever spent on a study aid for her.
